About
Colm Delaney
Hello! Thanks for reading this far. I come from a background in both classical violin performance and electronic music production, and I love writing in a range of styles from sparse acoustic writing to darker hybrid textures and widescreen orchestral material.
That range has been shaped through short films, documentaries, animation, games, and commercial storytelling. Favourite composers include Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Sibelius, and Thomas Newman.
I was lucky enough to receive a considerable scholarship to study the M.M. in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games at Berklee College of Music, Valencia, graduating in 2025. Some of my recent work is available on the work page, including scores for Hit the Wall, A Bite of Forever, Reunion, and game music recorded through symphonic sessions in London, Budapest, and Valencia.
Alongside scoring, I also love audio programming and am developing an exciting real-time music app for iOS through Chordable, which is currently in alpha testing.
